Black Jack Ranch Acquires 17 Elite Wagyu Females from Wyndford Farms, USA Division
August 17, 2025
Wiggins, Mississippi – Black Jack Ranch is proud to announce the acquisition of 17 of the most elite Wagyu females in the United States from Wyndford Farms’ USA Division, a strategic investment that strengthens the ranch’s nationally recognized seedstock program and helps advance the breed for generations to come.
The newly acquired females represent some of the most coveted bloodlines in the breed, combining proven maternal strength with exceptional performance traits. Among them is Boni 207K, the dam of Boni 413M – purchased by Black Jack Ranch for $240,000 at the prestigious Big Tex Sale earlier this year – as well as Boni 417, a full sister to Boni 413M.
“These females are game-changers,” said Rick Carter, owner of Black Jack Ranch. “The maternal traits, marbling potential, and production consistency they bring will not only enhance our herd, but also benefit our customers at our farm meat market.”
Black Jack Ranch has built its reputation on a meticulous, data-driven seedstock program, registering cattle with the American and Australian Wagyu Associations as well as the American Angus Association to ensure full pedigree transparency and global recognition. Every breeding decision is guided by measurable performance data – from growth and fertility to marbling scores and progeny results – to produce cattle that deliver excellence from pasture to plate.
“For our beef customers, it’s the same elite genetics driving our seedstock program that make every bite of Black Jack Ranch beef so exceptional, with rich marbling, incredible tenderness, and a depth of flavor that sets it apart,” said Carter.
This acquisition is more than an addition to the herd; it’s an investment in the future of the Wagyu breed. This acquisition will offer breeders access to genetics with a proven track record of performance, quality, and value.
“Strong maternal lines are the backbone of any elite breeding program,” Carter added. “With these females, we’re ensuring that our next generations will continue to set the standard for Wagyu in the U.S. and beyond. We also look forward to a continued relationship with Wyndford Farms as we both work to advance the breed.”
